In-Building Wireless (IBW) Systems

Indoor wireless coverage is essentially for mobile users, whether at home or in the office or anywhere. There are numerous solutions that can provide both wireless coverage as well as increased network capacity.

 

Some IBW solutions are stand alone (single cell deployment) or can be clustered (five cell deployment) and require the end user to provide sufficient backhaul to the mobile operator’s core network for command/control functions. These typically do not require any IBW RF design/planning for deployment and are self install types of products.

 

Other IBW solutions can support 1,000+ radio nodes and required professional design and installation services to support 100,000+ users such as a sports venue.

  • Enterprise Controller-based Small Cells
  • Enterprise Base Station-based Small Cells
